Simone joined Midwest Health Care late in 2023. Simone attended Shawnee College and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where she studied nursing. Simone has an associate degree in nursing. Prior to joining Midwest, throughout Simone’s nursing career she has worked in primary care, urgent care, dermatology, rural health, and surgery. Simone’s work history also includes working as a case manager and discharge planner for Lifepoint Health through one of our local hospitals. Simone has worked for 15-plus years and continues to work one-on-one with a group of general surgeons currently on a per diem basis as a general nurse first assistant. Simone spends her time away from work with family and friends.
