Medicare COVID-19 Vaccine Shot Payment

Medicare payment rates for COVID-19 vaccine administration will be $28.39 to administer a single-dose vaccine. A COVID-19 vaccine requiring a series of two or more doses, the initial dose(s) administration payment rate will be $16.94, and for the administration of the final dose in the series, the payment rate will be $28.39.

The appropriate billable code will depend on the brand of vaccine, see list of billable codes & reimbursement rates.
